Design and Simulation of Electronic Balance Based on Single Chip Microcontroller
Abstract
Balance is an important tool for quality measurement, which has been widely used in scientific research and everyday life. To implement electronic balance weighing system, the design uses many components, including AT89C51 Single Chip Micro-controller, Strain gauge load cell, Amplifying elements, A / D converters, LCD monitors and Alarms, etc. The Protel software was applied to design the minimum weighting system circuit diagram of micro-controller, amplification circuit diagram, A/D converter circuit diagrams, etc. The C language was used to compile the main programs and sub-programs, and then these programs will import to Proteus software to simulate electronic balance system. The results shows the alarm of threshold, adjustment of unit price and tare function.
