From the purpose and necessity of the transformation and development in local colleges and universities, the paper analyzes various challenges of transformation faced by colleges and universities, and then it researches from the transformation in the aspect of talent training mode, professional construction, teachers team construction, teaching mode reform, scientific research and management methods. Finally, it puts forward some ideas.
