Abstract

This paper established a model of factors affecting the entrepreneurial behavior by using Logistic regression method, and the data is based on the CGSS from 2010 to 2013. It is found that individual factors, family factors and social network factors can explain the entrepreneurial behavior to some extent; individual factors have the largest explanatory capability to the entrepreneurial behavior and family factors have the least explanatory capability. Only in the southwest region, educational level has significant effect. Educational level of father has the opposite effect in the southwest and southeast regions. Family economic level plays a significant role in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
