A New Exploration of “Write to Learn†in Larger Classes
Abstract
This paper aims at revealing the efficiency of “write to learn†in larger classes in China. It elucidates a brand-new pedagogy on writing: students learn to write in reading, particular attention is paid to highly-reputed literary works in larger classes. It shows that the teaching mode can greatly arouse students’ enthusiasm about critical thinking and creative writing with subsequent group discussions and peer letters. It concludes this new mode of writing ultimately promotes students’ language acquisition.
