Analysis of Chinese Contemporary Feminism under the Marx's Perspective

Abstract

China's feminist movement take Marxist outlook on women as the guiding ideology, the liberation of Chinese women and their rights are all benefited from this. Marxist outlook on women holds that the degree of liberation of women marks the level of civilization of a society. The degree of liberation of contemporary Chinese women has been improved, but there is still phenomenon of discrimination. To solve the problem of contemporary Chinese feminist, we must vigorously develop the productive forces, promote the balanced development of social economy, provide adequate labor opportunities for women, with full respect for women's employment autonomy; women themselves should actively improve their cultural level, raise their self-consciousness and right consciousness.
