The Effect, Problems and Strategies Analysis of YUXINOU International Railway and Chongqing’s Foreign Trade Development

Abstract

With opening and operation of YUXINOU international railway, the foreign trade development of Chongqing has obtained new development opportunities. By four dimensional time series data of total export-import volume, compositions of trade, trade modes and main markets, this paper first analyzed the significance of YUXINOU international railway to the development of Chongqing international trade. The paper further analyzed restraint factors of YUXINOU international railway so as to enhance the development of Chongqing foreign trade. The article finally proposes a series of countermeasures and suggestions: widespread propaganda to enlarge its effect; upgrading the transportation modes and promoting multimedia transport to reduce the transport time; keeping interconnection and inter-working to centralize the supply of goods; applying for establishment multinational trade organization to enhance efficiency of Customs clearance ,and the Chongqing logistics distribution center.
