Empirical Research on Development of Maoming Construction Industry

Abstract

This paper conducts an empirical analysis on the development of the construction industry in Maoming through an econometric method in order to promote the development of Maoming's economy. The results show that the gross output value of Maoming's construction industry is mainly affected by the output value of the building construction area and the completed area of the building. Therefore, in order to increase the total output value of Maoming's construction industry, it is necessary to increase the area of completed houses, enlarge and strengthen the construction industry, accelerate the process of urbanization, increase economic output value in the process of urbanization, and solve urban employment problems.
