Research on the Influence of the Bad Medical Network Public Opinion for Nurses
Abstract
Objective: To understand the influence of medical network public opinion on the various aspects of nurses, especially the core competence of nurses, and to provide policy guidance and countermeasure proposal. Methods: By using the self-made questionnaire referenced CRIN (Competency Inventory for Registered Nurse), a total of 103 registered nurses in a third-level grade A hospital were investigated. Results: The critical thinking ability, interpersonal competence, leadership ability, educational consulting ability are slightly affected by bad network public opinion in the core competence of nursing, while the clinical nursing ability is suffered a negative impact and nurses’ professional development abilities is liable to cause a positive effect. Compared with the core competence of nursing, the job satisfaction and professional identity are affected more negatively by the bad network public opinion. Conclusion: The two level managers of the social government and hospital departments should try to create a harmonious public opinion environment in different levels.
