Abstract

The frequent occurrence of ship accidents indicates that increasing the reliability of the components has been difficult to meet the safety requirements of the current ship navigation. Especially when the manual steering mode failure, only a quick and accurate emergency steering in order to avoid accidents. In order to improve the safety of the emergency steering process, it is necessary to suppress the generation of unsafe control action in the emergency steering process. This paper first establishes the ship system level control relationship according to the actual situation of the ship system operation; Secondly, the safety control structure of the emergency steering process is constructed according to the concrete process of the ship emergency steering; Then, the STPA is used to identify the unsafe control action in the emergency steering process and carries on the scenario analysis. Define reasonable security constraints based on the results of scenario analysis to reduce the occurrence of unsafe control action; Finally, through the UCA identification and analysis of the accident, the accident cause model is expanded, the superiority of the method is illustrated, and a new idea is provided to ensure the safety of the ship.
