On the Dialectical Relationship between Freedom and Order

Abstract


There is a contradiction between freedom and order that runs through the development of human society. Such contradiction is also unavoidable in current social development of China. The CPC Central Committee has repeatedly referred to vitality and order in the goal programming of the Report to the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China. Development and stability are the specific manifestation of vitality and order in the evolution of society, and vitality and order are the theoretical basis of development and stability from the aspect of political philosophy. Social stability and development poses a need to deal with the relationship between freedom and order. Therefore, it is of great significance for the current construction of China’s social order to grasp the dialectical relationship between freedom and order from the angel of political philosophy. This article will discuss the unity and opposition between freedom and order from the static and dynamic perspectives and understand and view the relationship between freedom and order in a dialectical way, so as to get a comprehensive understanding of freedom and order.
