Study on Application of New Work-Energy Principle of Particle System

Abstract

The new work-energy principle of particle systems reflects a natural law that both conservative force and non-conservative force can do non-dissipative work only to transfer mechanical energy; the non-conservative force can also do dissipative work to convert mechanical energy of a particle system into non-mechanical energy of a bearer, and while non-conservative force does dissipated work, the non-conservative reacting force does equivalent dissipative work at the same time. The meanings of the new work-energy principle of particle systems are explained, the basic steps of solving the problems by means of the new work-energy principle of particle systems are studied, and the calculation methods and the physical meanings of the calculation results are stated.
