Back Translation in Legal English Teaching: A Chinese Classroom Approach

Abstract


The study is an attempt to use back translation as a teaching method in classroom of legal English. It is found that back translation is an efficient way to call for awareness of inherent structural inequality in languages as well as to stress syntax features of legal English.
