Evolution Process and Effect Analysis on China’s Industry Income Gap

Abstract

In this article, it analyzes evolution process of China’s industry income gap by utilizing macro statistic data, and further verifies regional synchrony and convergence of industry income gap. The research shows that evolution of industry income gap can be divided into three stages-continuously shrunken stage, shock expansion stage and gentle fluctuation stage with high income since reform and opening-up policy; the changing of industry income gap shows relatively strong regional synchrony; industry income gap also presents absolute -convergence around China and club convergence in central and western regions.
