Research on Actual Combat Mode Innovation of Peacekeeping Police Training Under the New Situation

Abstract

With the unceasing change of the international situation and terrorism, regional instability and conflicts are also increasing. The situation of the United Nations peacekeeping mission areas tends to be complex and changeable. As an important and irreplaceable force in the peacekeeping operations, the UN peacekeeping police is also facing the great challenges the life and work. So developing a high standard actual combating peacekeeping police team not only is an important problem to be solved by peacekeeping training field, but also the urgent request of dealing with the complex situation. Based on the problem of how to cultivate a high standard actual combating peacekeeping police team, four aspects are illustrated in this paper, they are the introduction of UN police including the definition, tasks and responsibilities; several innovative suggestions on peacekeeping police combat training mode including the aspects of training system, teaching methods, construction of training material, hybrid learning model, and cultivation of talents.
