A Brief Analysis on the Higher Education Quality Assurance System of Malaysia and Implications for Chinese Higher Education
Abstract
Malaysia's higher education quality assurance system is constructed jointly by the government, society and universities, and has formed an internal and external quality assurance system with the government and universities playing the main role and relevant social organizations playing a complementary part. Such a quality assurance system has been playing a significant role in the course of the development of Malaysia’s higher education. This paper presents and analyzes the origin, constructions and characteristics of Malaysia’s higher education’s quality assurance system and draws implications for the construction of higher education’s quality assurance system in China based on its fundamental realities.
