Abstract

The objective of this paper is to find the degree of tourism disturbance on the basis of soil physicochemical characteristics. Six sample plots were selected along the wooden trestle or road. Water content, unit weight, pH value, soil organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium and soil texture were tested. One-way analysis of variance was used to compare means of indices’ value of six sample plots. The analysis indicates that all indices don’t change significantly with the distance or soil depth. However, significant difference is found among the indices’ value of different sample plots. Tourism disturbance degree of each sample plot was calculated and the result shows the order as follows: Heye Village>Wuhua Lake>Nuorilang Waterfall>Chang Lake>Jianzhu Lake>the Old-growth Forest.
